Our History and Mission

Synergy Software Design, LLC is a small business, Seaport-e contractor established in 2004. Since our beginning, we have worked to provide holistic solutions for maritime asset management. We first began by working with the U.S. Navy to provide systems for scheduling and data standardization for hyperbaric system inspections. Since then, we have branched out into creating enterprise level programs for the web (front and back end), GIS solutions, BIM standards and interactive 3D environments.

One of our current focuses is on standardizing waterfront data collection and reporting methodologies for the U.S. Navy. The workflow process that we have created extends into remote GIS data capture software tools and back-end solutions for data aggregation. We help Naval Command operations virtualize and report on this data using 2D GIS and 3D visualization techniques via custom-developed rendering tools. We are instrumental in developing emerging standards and expanding current application knowledge for future enterprise-level endeavors.

At Synergy, we understand the importance of solving the business need first. We pride ourselves on not simply implementing “technology as a solution”. Instead, we create a successfully integrated end-to-end business solution by refining business workflow and simultaneously preparing and executing effective GIS software tools.

As an ESRI technology partner, we have implemented highly customized ArcGIS server, client and web solutions for nearly a decade. As a member of the ESRI Developer Network, we are able to keep up-to-date with the latest direction and techniques for creating robust ESRI GIS solutions.

We are skilled in the areas of content, document and asset management processes using PMI (Project Management Institute) project management techniques and Agile software development practices.
